Milk Distribution Sites
A growing number of hospitals are helping families gain access to safe, pasteurized donor human milk! A Northwest Mothers Milk Bank Distribution Site enables families to fill their donor human milk prescription right there at the hospital, eliminating the added cost of travel to or overnight shipping from Northwest Mothers Milk Bank in Tigard, OR.
Once your baby’s healthcare provider prescribes donor human milk, you can fill the prescription in set quantities from a Donor Milk Distribution Site. All milk dispensed from these sites is screened, pasteurized, and tested at Northwest Mothers Milk Bank to ensure its safety and quality. Our hospital partners host Distribution Sites to increase access to donor milk and do not profit from prescribing or dispensing donor human milk.
If you and your baby are currently patients at one of the following hospitals, and your baby needs donor human milk, you may be able to obtain it on the day you are discharged. A prescription from your baby's provider is required at all locations.
